Thread

Thread is an original Scottish musical created by Fraser Scott, Iona Ramsay & Bethany Tennick and produced by Louise Oliver. Rooted in the town of Paisley, with an original folk-pop score, the show explores community, grief and family with an ensemble of Scottish actor-musicians. Thread premiered on May 24 2022 for a 5 day run at Renfrew Town Hall.

The show featured 12 brand new songs and explores how two sisters navigate their complex relationship with each other, as well as how they process the grief of recently losing their mother; a woman who was a matriarch and pillar in their community. Ultimately, Thread is a story about finding your identity, and place in the world, when everything you know is turned on its head.
